JobMom is edited by Charlene Prince Birkeland, a freelance writer and mom. Her two sons, Nol and Q., have exposed her to the world of the crazed parent. Charlene is the editor of Maya's Mom, an online parenting community. She frequently contributes to the San Francisco Chronicle, with stories that focus on cool families with creative homes and gardens and introspective essays on parenting.

Charlene's writing has been featured in Forbes Magazine, on NBC News and AOL. She is currently working with Jason Avant on her first book, Passing Out Cigars: Stories of Modern Fatherhood.
